Le Finiture Del Maestro Bespoke One to One Course
Our one-to-one Finiture Del Maestro course has been designed to allow you to learn how to achieve one of our Bespoke Finishes as seen on our London Showroom panels. Our London-based course will demonstrate and teach you the most important techniques of Venetian plastering or Metallic Paints; in this course, you will learn how to achieve the finish of your choice.
The course is led by a Master applicator trained in Italy, with many years and thousands of square meters of experience who will answer all your questions and ensure you will leave with the skills to create stunning feature walls and ceilings!
This course will not only explain the importance but also demonstrate the application of various Venetian plaster base coats, differences between acrylic and lime-based polished plaster, protectors, and colour washes that can enrich and protect the finishes.

Is this course right for me?
We have designed this course with the time and experience of our applicators in mind. We know it can be difficult to get time off work in order to train. We also know that many applicators that already work with our products, may not need more than a crash course on this type of product.
The intention of this course is to cover one of the Finiture Del Maestro finish (based on your choice). Our goal is to make sure that we can cover the different coats of the Finish within a single day!

Course Overview
01 Course Content
The course starts at 10 am and finishes approx. 2:30 pm. This will depend on how fast our course attendees are able to get through the materials, whilst making sure that the knowledge is being absorbed.
The following 2 key areas will be covered.
A. Repairs, Surface Preparation and After-care
- You will learn how to handle and repair accidental damages
- How to properly prepare any substrate for Venetian plastering.
- You will know how to re-seal or re-protect a surface.
- How to change the effect/look in situ (on-site).
- ‘What can go wrong’.
B. Tools

02 On the day
- Arrival for the course is at 10am.We will begin with a short introduction between ourselves, where we learn a little about what we have done in the past.
- This will be followed by a brief description of some of the finishes in our showroom. We will give you some hints and point out applications that we will be discussing in the course, later on in the day.
- The next step, will be to head to the training centre, where we will begin to go through the different coats. Applying them on boards, discussing potential steps require to correct imperfections, as well as things to avoid before moving on to the following coats.
- We will return to the showroom, take any questions that you may have, as well as provide the opportunity to speak to the sales team about the general flow of purchasing products, as well as making use of our other services, or even booking on to other courses! You will also get the chance to take advantage of the 20% discount we offer on the Special Package of your choice (Tools not included), if you wish to take any materials away with you!
- Finally, we will provide you with a signed certificate of attendanc.This will typically be around 2:30pm onwards. We try to make sure we answer any outstanding questions. This can sometimes lead the ending to be a little later.
