The Groove coloured iridescent, coloured waxes are a great addition for any textured decorative plaster. Combining different textured finishes, with the various colours of this lustrous wax will ensure a high-end, slightly reflective finish and offers the possibility of creating highly customisable applications.

Specifications

Groove wax is a decorative wax, not a protective wax. We still recommend to protect any surfaces treated with groove wax, with Impera wax.

Coverage:

1L per 30sqm (on a smooth finish).

Dilution:

5 - 10% if applying with spatula.

20 - 30% if applying with sponge

Tools:

- Stainless steel trowel.

- Spatula.

- sponge.

- Lambswool Bonnet for buffing.

Storage:

Between +5C and +35C for up to 2 years.

Disclaimers

  • Please note that the coverage of waxes is highly dependent on the type of surface they are being applied on. I.e. smooth vs textured surfaces. The intensity of the wax should also be taken into consideration. If only small parts of the application are being done, or if the entire surface will be coated with it.

  • White residue can sometimes be left on pits of certain applications due to it being deposited as it is being applied. Care should be taken when carrying out this type of applications.

  • the intensity and effect of this wax can vary depending on the substrate it is applied on to.
