Impera Italia's natural pigments all come from earth-based resources and oxides, and they are an especially great fit for our range of lime-based Venetian plasters and paints. The main advantage, of course, is that the sustainability of powder pigments with lime-based products is unmatched when it comes to decorating products.

These pigments should be tested with each product to confirm the materials' colourability, so be sure to add it little by little.

Specifications

  • Powder pigments are mostly recommended for use with Powdered paints and plasters.
  • If you would like to obtain pigments which are more highly concentrated, please take a look at our range of liquid pigments.

Disclaimers

  • In order to use powder pigments successfully, you must ensure that you measure, either by weight or by scoops, how much you are adding of each colour. Keep notes of how colours are created in order to faithfully replicate them in the future.

  • Powder pigments can be stored indefinitely provided they are kept in dry conditions away from direct sunlight.

  • Please note that slight tonal variations can still appear between different materials coloured in the same way, especially if mixed at distant points in time. This is due to natural batch differences between materials and pigments.
