Colorado High Concentration Pigments for Paints, Plasters & Other Decorative Products

Regular price From £9.60

Our range of water-based, liquid pigments are all made of natural, earth-based resources and oxides. They are highly concentrated, and can be used for almost any paint or plaster on the decorating market, whether it has a natural or synthetic base.

Due to the natural materials used to create the pigments, they offer a colour resistance far above average, which makes these pigments an excellent addition in any decorator's tool kit.

  • highly concentrated
  • broadly compatible

Specifications

  • Add pigment slowly into material, remember, these pigments are intense, and the depth of colour should be tested at regular intervals whilst adding it to material.

  • Colour replication is the most important part of working with liquid pigments. This is especially true when working with multiple batches of the same material that all need to be mixed. It is important to measure how much pigment is being added to different buckets in order to ensure that the colour will remain even throughout the application.

Disclaimers

  • Our liquid pigments are compatible with all our products, as well as many others on the decorative market. We do however, recommend that you test the pigment in a small sample of the desired product first, before opting for a larger quantity.

  • These pigments are highly concentrated and a little goes a long way. It is always best to add a small amount, mix then test, before adding higher quantities. Remember, it is always possible to make the colour darker, but not lighter! If you make the colour too dark and need to lighten it, the only way would be by mixing more of the SAME, uncoloured material into it.

  • When using liquid pigments with powdered materials, we recommend preparing the material first by mixing it with water, than adding the liquid pigments. Alternatively, please see our range of powder pigments!
