Grassello Naturale Lime-Based Polished Plaster

Regular price From £42.00

Grassello Naturale is a natural stucco base coat, especially suitable for the covering of large areas. Due to its lime base, it's an excellent product for the developments and restorations of listed buildings and passivhaus projects. The natural base will ensure an algae and mould resistant application, as it will have a key role in regulating humidity.

Grassello Naturale was designed to function as a compliment to the superior plaster "Venetian". The ideal application consist of utilizing Grassello Naturale for the initial 2 coats, uncoloured. The final coat is then done with Venetian in the desired colour. This partnership works excellently due to the fact that Venetian's largest size is 5kg, making it costly to use it for large projects. Grassello Naturale significantly reduces the amount of Venetian needed, without negatively impacting the application.

Disclaimers

  • We do not recommend using Grassello Naturale as a finishing plaster. It is only intended as part of the application of the plaster "Venetian" by reducing its consumption.

  • We do not colour Grassello Naturale as it is not necessary. The 3rd and final coat of "Venetian" will have the desired colour and will provide the final desired look regardless.

  • Using Grassello Naturale as a basecoat for "Venetian" will improve its coverage from 1kg per 1sqm, to around 1kg per 5sqm. This will make using "Venetian" much more cost effective over large areas.
