Link B is the second part of the bi-component Pre-sealer for the Continuo Microcement System. The role of the Link, is to fill the pores of the plaster and seal them for durability. The application of the Link is done in a single coat, that will significantly darken the Decorative plaster. For this reason, the Link should be applied to any sample that is done, as only after the link dries, the final colour of the finish will be determined. Please note that in order to apply Link Component A, you will need to correct proportion of Link Component B. This is mixed in a ration of 2 parts Component A to 1 part Component B.

Specifications

Coverage:

  • Approximately 750ml per 10sqm (1 coat). This is made up of 100ml of Link Component A, 50ml of Link Component B and 600ml of Water.

Number of coats:

  • 1 coat.

Dilution:

  • No dilution, instead the following mixture should be created (based on a 10sqm kit). 100ml of Component A, 50ml of Component B, 600ml of water.
  • The preparation ratio for Link is:

Link A 2: 1 Link B. The total volume is multiplied by 4 and this is how much water should be added.

So 100ml of Link A + 50ml of Link B is 150ml of solution. This 150 is now multiplied x4 to make 600. (This is the amount of water to add). This formula can be adjusted for any amount of link that is to be prepared.

Tools:

  • Low pile roller, sponge or brush.
  • Mixing blade.

Storage:

  • Between +5C and +35C for up to 2 years.

Disclaimers

  • Please note that Continuo Link Component A must be mixed with Component B, and the correct amount of water must be added before being applied.
  • The colour of the plaster used for the project is unlikely to match the final look. This is because the addition of the Link pre-sealer will darken the colour. Therefore, any time samples are being made, Link should be applied before judging the colour.
