You can specify this ‘stucco veneziano’ or Venetian plaster for a variety of projects from restorations to listed buildings to passivhaus developments.
It’s important to note that you should finish any Grassello Naturale with a a coat of Venetian, a high-gloss polished plaster, for the best effect.
You can apply one base coat under Venetian only, but with two coats you can achieve a much more detailed, refined look.
Grassello means ‘fat’ and describes the quality and nature of the lime.

·
Q: What’s the difference between ‘Grassello Naturale’ and the other natural polished plasters Impera Italia offers?
A: This polished plaster is a cost-effective base coat for other Venetian plasters and is not a full finish on it’s own, mainly because of last coat’s application, as it’s much harder to create a high-gloss finish with it. Exceptional glossiness can be achieved through a ‘Venetian’ top coat.
